The Pause

2020 slowed everything down.

What started as stillness slowly turned into observation. Days blurred into each other, and the outside world felt distant. But inside, there was a different kind of movement — quieter, softer, more personal. This series was created at home, with nothing more than light, space, and time. There was no rush, no brief, no expectation. Just moments — sitting with a book, lying in between thoughts, existing without needing to be anywhere else. The imagery is simple, but intentional. Warm tones, soft fabrics, familiar corners. A reflection of what life looked like when everything else paused. It wasn’t about productivity. It wasn’t about creating something perfect. It was about being present. Looking back, these images feel like a reminder — that even in uncertainty, there can be calm. That slowing down isn’t always a setback.

Sometimes, it’s where you find yourself again.
