Behind the Seams
B.Sulakshana X The Right Cut
There’s always more to a garment than what we see on the surface.
This project with The Right Cut started with a simple idea, to shift the focus. Not on the final piece, not on the styling, but on the hands that bring it to life. We spent time inside the workspace, surrounded by loose threads, half-finished seams, and quiet concentration. The kind of environment that often goes unnoticed, yet holds the entire story together. The imagery is raw and unfiltered , intentionally so. It captures the rhythm of the process: cutting, stitching, adjusting, repeating. The details that don’t make it to the storefront, but are present in every single piece. There’s something deeply honest about seeing a garment in its making. The imperfections, the precision, the human effort behind every seam .This wasn’t about creating perfect pictures. It was about documenting presence — the people, the process, and the reality of craftsmanship.
Because behind every finished piece, there are hands that shaped it.
